TikTok Ads: from your first script to verified enquiries
Check advertising availability, film a clear demonstration and test distinct messages. Separate attention to the video from enquiries your team can actually confirm.

Contents
A TikTok advertisement starts with a situation the audience recognises. Showing a product in use or explaining a specific issue can say more than a montage of logos. For a local business, the useful question is whether attention becomes a practical next step that someone can verify.
Check access before producing the campaign
Advertising account availability, target markets and payment methods differ. The official list for creating accounts in Business Center, checked on 11 September 2026, does not include Moldova. That list concerns self-service account creation; it does not by itself establish every advertising or targeting option.
Confirm eligibility for your company and intended territory through the account and official support. Do not build the plan around a fictional address in another country. If the required access is unavailable, the material may still serve organic publishing or other channels, subject to suitable rights and formats.
Choose a demonstration you can show honestly
For a hypothetical bicycle workshop, “how to recognise a brake that needs inspection” offers a concrete starting point. Show an observable issue and explain the next step. Avoid promising a complete diagnosis from one clip or presenting a staged result as a customer's spontaneous experience.
Write a concept card covering the audience, question, demonstration, evidence and action. A maintenance explanation and an appointment walkthrough are different ideas. Changing subtitle colours is not a new commercial concept when the message and reason to enquire remain identical.
Give the script one clear idea
The opening frames should show the subject. Follow with the demonstration, explanation and next action. As an exercise, film the same procedure with two introductions: one starts with the problem, the other with the intended outcome. No single duration is guaranteed to work for every offer.
- Opening: a situation the customer can recognise.
- Demonstration: something directly observable on screen.
- Explanation: what the service includes and what needs checking.
- Action: where to read details or request an appointment.
Read the script aloud before filming. Remove sentences that simply repeat what is already visible. Use language customers use in conversations and explain technical terms. Adapt the rhythm as well as the words when preparing Romanian and Russian versions.
Film for the actual phone screen
Prepare a vertical composition and leave room for interface controls. Check the text on a phone with sound off and then on. TikTok's In-Feed Ads specifications cover formats and safe areas; requirements differ between advertisement types.
Even lighting and intelligible speech matter more than dramatic transitions. Capture enough detail to support the explanation without hiding relevant defects. Use music, images and people's appearances only with the rights needed for advertising. A popular sound is not automatically available for commercial use.
Continue the explanation on the destination page
If the video presents bicycle servicing, the page should explain what servicing includes, where it happens and how to request a booking. Avoid sending people into a general catalogue. They should not have to reconstruct the offer after clicking the advertisement.
Test the page in the application's browser. Check loading, the keyboard, language selection and returning after opening an external contact option. Confirm receipt only after a form has been saved. “Appointment confirmed” is inappropriate when a colleague still needs to check availability.
Measure an action you can confirm
Views, watch time and clicks describe different stages of interest. A WhatsApp click does not confirm a message, and starting a form is not a received enquiry. Define those actions separately and connect the actual outcome with the team's operational records.
Nonessential tracking requires appropriate consent. Do not include free-text messages, phone numbers or sensitive details in events. Check acceptance, refusal and withdrawal, including what happens when a browser blocks measurement. An absent advertising record does not establish that no customer existed.
Compare concepts before refining execution
Start with a small set of distinct ideas and an acceptable spending limit for the test. Keep the offer and destination reasonably comparable so the effect of the message is easier to understand. Record stock, opening-hour and pricing changes that could affect results independently of the video.
In a hypothetical example, one clip produces many views and questions about repairs the workshop does not offer. Another gets less attention but brings suitable enquiries. The first does not automatically win: enquiry relevance and the ability to serve people matter more than isolated popularity.
Prepare the response after publication
Assign someone to review enquiries and comments. Repeated questions can become subsequent videos about timing, indicative pricing, transport or handover conditions. Answers should match the actual offer without promising things in comments that the page or sales team cannot support.
Keep the script, rights, version and test observations for every asset. When performance declines, inspect message relevance and the destination before blaming production quality. A repeatable process of observation and improvement is more useful than searching for one video expected to solve every sales problem.
